Dr Katharine Bentley has been a Chartered Psychologist for 19 years and a Consultant Psychologist for adults, adolescents, families and children for the past 14 years. She has 14 year’s experience as an Expert Witness for the Family Courts.
Dr Bentley undertakes assessments and diagnoses according to DSM-V criteria. She specialises in:
• Cognitive and Psychometric testing
• Personality profiling
• Impact of all types of abuse: emotional, physical, sexual abuse, neglect; domestic violence, including adults and children
• Family assessments, contact, access, psychological risk assessment
• Parenting skills and capacity, evaluation of ‘good enough’ parenting

• Attachment and the parenting needs of children
• All aspects of trauma and recovery
• Alienating behaviours and the impact on children
