Expert witness marketplace

Find a vetted psychiatrist, with or without a law firm.

ExQlo sources the experts you need, fast. Every expert is vetted before landing in your dashboard. Every instruction runs in a private, encrypted Case Room.

No platform fee for those instructing. Pay only when work completes.

Expert witness or interpreter?

Human-reviewed panel

ExQlo checks every application before a name is published.

Explainable AI matching

Every match carries a 0–100 score and a plain-English reason.

Encrypted Case Rooms

Documents are encrypted end to end. Nothing crosses between cases.

UK/EU data residency

Your data stays on UK and EU infrastructure, nowhere else.

Court-grade standards

Built around an expert’s duty to the court, under CPR Part 35.

Human-reviewed. Scored. Explained.

How the marketplace works, in one picture.

  1. Your brief

You describe the matter — anonymously if you wish.

  2. The vetted panel

    Human-reviewed against a structured checklist.

  3. Scored 0–100

Our AI scores each expert against your brief.

  4. ExQlo signs off

We review the shortlist and confirm availability.

  5. The Case Room

A private, encrypted room, brief to invoice.

How ExQlo works

The same vetted panel, whichever way you instruct.

The Case Room

One private room per instruction, from brief to invoice.

When you instruct an expert, a Case Room opens. Messages are encrypted. Documents are shared securely, readable only by the two of you. Status moves from instructed through report submitted to completed. Both sides see the running fee. And nothing from one instruction ever crosses into another.

Messages are encrypted in transit and at rest. The room is private: encrypted and custodian-held on UK/EU infrastructure (a custodial model, not a zero-knowledge one).

For legal professionals

Brief your expert, watch progress, sign off the report and receive one clean invoice. No email chains.

For direct access clients

The same private workspace, in plain English. Talk to your expert and keep everything in one place.

Where interpreters are involved

A scoped room per booking carries the logistics, kept separate from the main instruction.

Simple, completion-based fees.

For those instructing
Legal professionals and direct access

You pay the expert’s agreed fee and nothing extra. No platform fee, no markup, no subscription. For legal cases, that fee is one clean, recoverable disbursement.

For experts and interpreters
Low commission, no listing fee

Keep 90% of every fee, paid into your own account on completion. Experts keep 100% on Legal Aid. No listing or subscription fee.

Why ExQlo

Vetting & matching
Human-vetted, then explainably matched

A person checks every applicant against a structured checklist. When your brief lands, our AI scores every approved expert 0–100 against it, with a plain-English reason and a flag. A person reviews the shortlist, confirms availability, and only then releases names to you. You see the reasoning, not just the result.

Access
Open to everyone who needs an expert

Law firms have always had access to expert witnesses. ExQlo extends the same vetted panel to insurers, HR teams, regulators, unions, coroners, care providers and private individuals, with the same review, the same matching, and the same clean fee.

Fees
We only earn when experts do

ExQlo earns nothing until experts and interpreters earn. Those instructing pay no markup and no platform fee. So no one profits from work that never happens.

Scope
Any discipline, court-grade throughout

ExQlo is not a medical-only platform: any expert discipline is in scope. The engagement lifecycle is built around an expert’s duty to the court (CPR Part 35), so the rigour holds whatever you instruct for.
